Sample Timeline

At least 2 weeks prior to the event:

  • Reserve Room — President
  • Set time to buy materials — Program leader
  • Coordinate with other Res Colleges or student groups — Program leader and/or VP
  • Make flyers (see the Advertising Resources page) — PR Rep/ Program leader

At least 1 week prior to the event:

  • Post flyers–PR Rep
  • Send out mass email (if it is a large event) — President
  • Purchase materials (for large orders, buy items earlier) — program leader

Day of Event-Program leader:

  • Set up team
  • Schedule shifts
  • Clean up team

After event:
